Summerhall Festival - Anatomy Lecture Theatre

Theatre

In 1896, Rosa Vaile's husband lost his job on the docks and then they lost everything else. Now his great-great-great-grandaughter would like to talk to you about class, work, mental illness, and how far we’ve come in a century. The debut solo show from writer and performer Lauren Mooney, part of award-winning Kandinsky Theatre Company, Service is about stolen names, secret children and bullshit jobs; it's about being kept apart by circumstance and pulled together by a thin red line. Praise for Kandinsky's Still Ill: 'Fascinating, layered, intelligent' (Stage). 'Intricately layered, exquisitely detailed' (Time Out).
